The sound was that of a loud footstep, or so it seemed. Then another, and another were heard until a strange shape loomed up from the mist. The figure receded and then suddenly came charging at me! Without hesitation I whipped out the revolver I had and fired three times at the figure. When it still came towards me after those shots I turned and hared it down the path, reaching Glen Derry in a time that I have never bettered. You may ask, was it really the Fear Laith Mhor?
