Firefighters from Atherton and Farnworth were called to the old White Lion public house in Little Hulton yesterday.

The cause of the fire is under investigation, crews, who are warning of the dangers of entering the building, were on the scene for just under two hours. The local pub which has been set on fire twice over the last week has been closed since 2017.

Local residents shared the image of a face at the window of the public house. The face shows what appears to be a males face in the bottom right hand corner of the window.

The figure seems to be a male with dark or black eyes. Do you know of any local tales about the White Lion? If so please get in touch.
