I darted outside and the noise was definitely coming from above us. I’d guess it was not more than about fifty feet above the house, but I couldn’t see whatever was making the noise at all. I ran around the side of the house to see if anything slow and heavy was rumbling up the lane. I saw nowt, there was nothing moving out there.
