This encounter took place in east Finland, near Kuopio, in broad daylight. My friend used to live with her mother in a house that was located next to a small grass field and a lake. At the lake shore there was an outdoor sauna. This was summertime in 1996 or so. My friend was 8-9 years old at the time.

Her mother noticed that she had forgotten a bucket indoors and asked my friend to go fetch it from the house. My friend went through the grass field, which was behind the house. When she got to the corner of the house, she saw what she called “A Werewolf” and it was just standing there in the front yard. The front yard was a big open space with only a few trees there, so she was able to see it clearly. It was a Wolf but it was standing on its hind legs like a human, it was grey in colour, with a human looking body like a man. Just like you would imagine a Werewolf to look like.
