The Police report a strange Find that consisted of an Ape’s Severed Limbs in the Woods. It was reported in the German newspapers that a forester’s dog found Ape extremities in a thicket near Grafrath, South Germany. Now the police are investigating the case.
The find of alleged extremities of an Ape in a forest west of Munich has become quite a riddle for investigators. The hound of a forester initially found a hand in the thicket near Grafrath in the Landkreis Fuerstenfeldbruck area. “They were complete with skin, hair and fingernails attached, the hands had been closely cut above the wrist”, said a police spokesman on Wednesday (20th May 2020).
The investigators asked the forester to let his dog search again, whereupon the dog found and returned with an Ape’s foot. The police are assuming that the extremities are from a Chimpanzee or Bonobo. “We are completely baffled”, the police spokesman said. Since the find on Tuesday (19th May 2020) no further clues have come in. The pieces were sent by the veterinary to the agency of health and food safety for further investigation. Results are expected next week.
Update – German police say the grisly find of an ape’s hand and foot in a forest west of Munich appears to be less nefarious than previously thought, and certainly not as outlandish than wildly speculative tips they’ve received. The cleanly severed hand and foot, complete with skin, hair and nails, were discovered about a week ago by a forester’s dog. Tips came in, including one suggesting the find was evidence the government was carrying out coronavirus experiments on monkeys, police said Thursday.
